4Front is happy to announce that it will be sponsoring the development of 
the popular X11amp program which will be renamed as "X MultiMedia System"
(XMMS). XMMS is a multi format audio player capable of playing .wav, .au, 
.mod, .mid and .mp3 (MP3 Audio) files. XMMS will remain fully GPL'ed and 
there is absolutely no change in the licensing. More information on XMMS

Mr. Peter Alm and Mr. Thomas Nilsson have joined 4Front Technologies and 
will form the OSS Applications group.

XMMS v0.9 (FINAL) is being announced today and provides the following
new features:
	o Real Time scheduling (useful in 486 class machines)
	o ICECAST MP3 Streaming
	o Saving http streams on hard disk
	o Support for .au file formats
	o Diskwriter plugin
